Due to the pandemic of covid-19, precautional measures have been put in place on sites for all LSS staffs and clients. Below are the lists of measures observe to limit the spread of the virus:

  • LSS has provided PPE such as facial/surgical masks, hand sanitizers, gloves and toiletries
  • PPE mask must be worn while travelling to and from work and shopping Wash your hands thoroughly with warm or hot water and soap for at least 30 seconds before eating, after using the toilet and regularly throughout the day.
  • Washing of hands with soap and running water first thing on arriving on site by LSS staffs
  • Regular sanitizers of the hands
  • Avoid sneezing or coughing into your hand, it is better to use tissues (and then dispose of them) or if not available your arm/elbow crease Remember to wash your hands afterwards.
  • Each of our clients will continue to look for ways to improve hygiene in all workspaces and we all need to take responsibility for our work areas and cleanliness around keyboard, screens and our phones.
  • Two staffs per time in the kitchen with two meters distancing and compulsory use of gloves in the kitchen on breaks
  • Customers are not to enter the office and to stay at the office door for Social Distancing
  • Maintenance of high-level hygiene is mandatory for our staff
  • If any of our staff comes in contact with any sick person, the staff is advised to self- \isolate for 14 days according to government rule
  • If any of our staff or clients on sites have concerned symptoms, it’s advised to contact NHS 111.
  • If you are required to self-isolate following advice from NHS England, you should immediately contact your line manager and discuss the advice you have received and verify its source in writing.
  • Detailed information is placed in strategic area on the site to constantly remind both staffs and clients the importance of maintaining high hygiene
  • We constantly review our fire risk assessment in waking watch sites and update with any necessary fire safety measures.
  • A manager is in place in waking watch sites to maintain staffs follow the guidelines rules of covid-19 measures and provision of the PPE in the building.
